Ordinary PVC film is composed of a single layer of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and its softness and hardness are usually adjusted by adding plasticizers. It may be soft (such as PVC film) or hard (such as PVC sheet), but all are made of a single material. PVC fabric materials is composed of two layers of PVC coating with high-strength mesh materials (such as polyester fiber mesh, nylon mesh or glass fiber mesh) sandwiched between them. The mesh interlayer provides additional tensile and tear resistance.
